The view and location are nice, but I wouldn't recommend this place if you're looking for somewhere clean. The hostel is very low cost, so it's basic, and the rooms aren't as nice as they appear. The old, dirty linen and bedding need replacing. Both the rooms and the poor bathrooms need refurbishment. It's also hard to get luggage up the stairs, especially for people with special needs. The sockets and lighting need modernising to work with USB cables.

There are lots of places to eat and a Sainsbury’s across the road, which helps since there's no kitchen. The dorm bed had an ABSOLUTELY AMAZING VIEW, see photo, and the beach is close by. The staff and general vibe are chill, everyone is super friendly, and there are social activities in the bar. I'm definitely going back!

A great hostel for surfing and going out in Newquay. The room was amazing, with a beach view, and the facilities were great too, including outside showers, a drying room and somewhere to store surf boards. The only disappointment was the manager's attitude. He seemed uninterested and unwilling to help. I expect hostel staff to be kind and friendly, but that wasn't my experience.

Pleasant and helpful staff, and the hostel has good security. It's perfectly fine. I just wish it had a kitchen and a common room.

The rooms were okay and the location was great, but there's no communal area, just a relatively expensive bar, with cider at 8 pounds. The staff weren't very helpful either. The front desk was usually unmanned, and when we asked about parking, they told us to just Google it.
