Hilton Northampton

The staff I met were wonderful, and it’s really convenient for the motorway. The bedroom was more basic and dated than I expected, with no mini fridge in the cupboard and an iron but no ironing board. The bathroom was dated too, with a missing plug, a blocked sink and orange mould around the shower. Restaurant food was greasy and heavy. Some fresher options for people travelling for work would be welcome.

Andreea S made us feel genuinely welcome and valued. She was so kind and friendly, always ready to help with a smile, and went out of her way to make everything right. Her professionalism, attention to detail and positive attitude really stood out, and reflect well on the Hilton brand. The Hilton Hotel Northampton itself was clean, comfortable and well maintained, with a welcoming feel from the moment I arrived. I had a wonderful stay.

The bathroom felt worn and tired, with cracked tiles, and the party food came out slowly and a bit cold. If not for those issues, I’d have given five stars. Breakfast was great, and the rest of the room was lovely and a nice place to be.

The team are what make this hotel stand out. Housekeeping, the bar staff and especially reception have all been warm, professional and welcoming on my stays. This time Nicha went out of her way to help with a request and made everything feel effortless. I really appreciate that kind of care. I’ve stayed at the Hilton Northampton several times, and it’s become my first choice in the area. The location just off Junction 15 of the M1 is very convenient. I haven’t had any issues across my visits. Once, when I did need to raise something about my room, it was dealt with professionally and resolved in under 30 minutes. I can’t praise the staff enough and would happily recommend the hotel to anyone staying near Northampton. Looking forward to my next visit.
