Miranda at reception and Lindsey at breakfast were especially helpful, and the service throughout was great. We spent a week here on a business trip and found it very relaxing. The rooms had everything we needed. Next time we’re back in Northampton, for work or leisure, we’ll choose this hotel again.

The team were polite, professional and ready to help from check-in through to departure. Requests were handled efficiently, and the front desk staff knew the local area. The check-in itself was smooth, and the central location makes it easy to reach Northampton’s shops, restaurants and transport links. I found the Mercure Northampton a dependable choice for business or a short leisure stay, with comfortable accommodation and the friendly service I’d expect from the brand. A few modern updates would bring it up another level. I’d happily return for work.

The hotel is showing its age, but it’s still fit for purpose. It’s right in the centre of Northampton and has plenty of parking, including space around the back for coach drivers. Dinner and breakfast were spot on, and the staff were lovely and helpful. The two young women serving our football team at dinner were especially good, as was a young receptionist who was new to the hotel but very professional.

I really enjoyed my one-night stay. Breakfast was a very good full continental, and the room was clean with a comfortable bed. The power shower felt luxurious, and shampoo and body wash were provided. The tea and coffee station was empty, so I went down to reception and they gave me some straight away.

A convenient location and plenty of parking made this a good short stay at the Novotel. The room was spacious, comfortable and well maintained, and there was a good choice at breakfast. Staff were warm, friendly and helpful.
