The cooked breakfasts were very good, and we enjoyed our one-night stay overall. Our triple room was pleasant, with a clean en-suite in good condition. But it was an icy night, and the central heating had already been switched off when we got back around 10.30pm. There was no thermostat in the room, so we had cold showers and went straight to bed to try to stay warm.

The roasts were a highlight, with vegetables cooked just right and plenty of gravy. We went to The Pytchley Inn last Sunday with the Morgan Sports Car Club for our annual lunch, and had another outstanding visit. The staff are warm and friendly, which always makes us feel welcome and turns a good meal into a memorable occasion. We’ve been coming for several years and have already booked for next year. Highly recommended.

We’ve come back a number of times for the food, and there’s plenty of parking. The menu has something for everyone, with a particularly good range of vegetarian dishes. Staff are always happy to help, and the Sunday roast alone is worth the trip.

Natalie was really friendly and made sure we had everything we needed. We had a great time at The Pytchley, the food was tasty and the service was top-notch. Definitely worth popping in for a meal.

For my father’s wake at The Pytchley on monday 2nd march 2026, they suggested afternoon tea, and it was perfect. There was plenty of tasty food, beautifully presented, including a huge gluten free cake that everyone loved. The staff were lovely and efficient, quickly topping up the tea and coffee. We didn’t have to ask for anything. Thankyou.
