The room was spacious, and the staff were very friendly and helpful. The bathroom water was another story: the shower and bath pressure was poor, and the hot and cold controls were ridiculous. The hot water was extremely hot, while getting basic cold water from either the bath or shower was a struggle. I was on the ground floor, so pressure shouldn't have been an issue. They need to improve it.

There was a strong smell of cannabis and vomit throughout the hotel, and the place felt extremely unhygienic. The staff had such an attitude that I wouldn't want to come back. It may look cheap, but they charge you for everything. I'd rather pay a little more somewhere else for comfort, cleanliness, and respectful treatment.

We had a great stay, but getting our two heavy suitcases upstairs was a real hassle. There was no elevator and no option for us to stay on the first floor, so we had to carry them up several flights. That's why I'm giving it four stars.

The rooms had all been refurbished and were clean and tidy. They refresh them if you leave the card on the door, and the staff were pleasant, friendly, and helpful. We were there for a boys' weekend and walked to a football game at the nearby stadium. Parking is free, though it can get busy. There are restaurants close by, including the decent Sixfields pub and the highly recommended Bella Italian. We did hear noise in the corridors at night from guests who weren't being considerate, which could disturb you. We'd highly recommend this Travelodge and hope to return next year. Thanks to the staff, from The Boys.

The staff were helpful, though there may not be many of them. During our stay, reception was dealing with our faulty shampoo dispenser. The room was clean, but some design choices were odd: the toilet door doesn't lock, and its plastic cylindrical knob is hard to pull open with slippery hands or little kids' hands. There's no AC, though they do provide a fan. With the window safety latch limiting ventilation, the room felt hot while we were there, when daytime temperatures outside were 27°C. A busy petrol station next door also made enough morning noise to wake us. There are plenty of restaurants nearby if you want to walk around, though there's not much else to see.
