The meal itself was excellent, with generous servings and plenty to choose from. My burger was almost rare, which suited me, though other people might have asked for it to be sent back. Getting there was the hard part: we were seated quickly, then left waiting a long time before anyone took our order. It sounds like a recurring issue, and the pub should try to fix it. Nice spot and good food, but the service needs attention.

That wood-fired pizza was especially good, and the rest of the food was great too, with decent portions at fairly reasonable prices. We only came for dinner, so I can't say anything about the rooms. It's in a superb riverside spot, but they still put effort into the place instead of relying on the location.

The river setting is lovely, and the food was very good, though lunch felt overpriced. Service was seriously slow. We waited more than 20 minutes after sitting down before anyone took our order, then another 10 for the drinks. A 30-minute wait just for a drink at a pub is far too much. The baguette and salad arrived 10 minutes after that, so it took 40 minutes to get lunch.

We were glad to find a parking space and a table on a busy, sunny evening. The food and drinks took a while, but the meal was worth it. The crab salad came with bread, butter and chips, and the chicken piri piri was tasty and enormous. You certainly won't leave hungry. Outside, lots of people were enjoying the spring sunshine by the water. It's a lovely place, and a walk on the common is well worth doing too. The staff were kind, hardworking and good with customers. We also found out they have rooms. I'd come back for sure if I lived closer.

The pizzas were delicious, fresh and stone baked, absolutely mouthwatering. Staff were friendly, kept us informed about likely wait times and seating, and checked that we were happy with the food. There's lots of room inside, but a long queue for a riverside seat. Parking is available on site, though on a sunny day the place gets packed and you may need to find a space somewhere in the village. Just don't park on double yellow lines. A lovely stop for the Broads.
