Kiran really made the visit feel personal. They were attentive, friendly, and made sure I felt looked after throughout. The room was comfortable, clean, and well kept, and the hotel had a warm atmosphere. I stayed for three nights and found the location convenient too. I’d happily return and recommend it for a comfortable stay with great service.

The room was spacious, quiet, and the food was delicious. We were given some tasty complimentary snacks while having a drink at the bar, and the people running the hotel and restaurant were so lovely. We stayed during Download Festival 2025, and the bus stop right outside made getting to the festival easy. We had a great time and would stay again next year.

The buffet was a nice Sunday evening meal. There wasn’t a huge selection, but everything we tried was delicious and fresh food was brought out often. Staff were friendly, and they made lovely naan breads when we asked. Cheesecake was available for dessert too.

The rooms are spacious, but they’re worn and not well maintained. Ours was on the second floor, and there’s no lift. You also have to give three days’ notice for breakfast. Make sure you register your car at reception.

Ram was so pleasant and helpful. We didn’t get to eat at his restaurant, which we regret, because the food smelled amazing. We’ll make sure to try it on our next stay. We’re also looking forward to seeing the changes and upgrades Ram has planned for the hotel. We’d definitely recommend Bennetts Hotel.
