We’ve stayed here twice already and will certainly come back. It’s a peaceful spot near Dartmoor, with extensive gardens and a very comfortable lounge. The old building has the thick stone walls you’d expect in the area, and the rooms feel airy and spacious. Breakfast is to die for, and the welcome and service are superb. Nothing seems too much trouble. Highly recommend.

We only stayed briefly while the family looked at houses in the area, but the views from the rooms were absolutely stunning. Collaven is a beautifully run B&B, and the owners made us feel so welcome. Everything seemed very well organised, and the breakfasts were hearty. Thanks so much for having us 😊

We spent five nights here with our dog Sofie. The place was lovely and quiet, and there was plenty of room in the grounds to walk her first thing in the morning. Jakes & Jane were excellent, welcoming hosts, and we had a freshly cooked breakfast every day. The accommodation was very good, and there are great walks and places to visit around Dartmoor. Highly recommend.

We found two very good pubs within walking distance, and also enjoyed walking across the moor and visiting a local vineyard. It’s a great base for exploring Devon and the moors. Jake’s and Jane were very good hosts, and we loved the breakfast made with locally sourced ingredients.

The King Room was divine, clean and lovely, with great tea and coffee facilities. The owners looked after me so well. Jakes and his wife were warm, friendly and welcoming, and very attentive whenever I needed anything. They cooked a beautiful English breakfast too! 😍 I had a wonderful two-night stay in this beautiful, authentic manor. It’s a great choice for a long weekend in the English countryside, with rustic English pubs nearby and the stunning Dartmoor National Park. There are plenty of farm shops selling local food and drinks as well. Thanks for an amazing weekend! 🥳🏍
