The Saddleworth Hotel

The Saddleworth Hotel was a lovely place to celebrate my nephew’s wedding on 25 July. The outdoor ceremony was beautiful, the meal and food throughout the day were delicious, and the staff were just great. The rooms were lovely with fantastic views. Everything was perfect, and I’d highly recommend it.

We held our daughter’s wedding here, and “perfect” is the only word for it. The team couldn’t do enough for us, and the hotel is stunning. The rooms are beautiful and well equipped, the food was lovely, and we even had good weather on the day. Would 100% recommend.

I’ve been to two weddings here now, and thoroughly enjoyed both. It’s a hidden gem in the heart of Saddleworth, and you wouldn’t expect it to be so impressive from outside. Inside, the decor is tasteful and elegant, and clearly well thought out. There’s a stunning balcony above the main dining area, plus a huge outdoor space that’s perfect for weddings and, I imagine, other events. I also met the owner. I ordered some drinks I wasn’t supposed to, and he dealt with it politely and respectfully. It’s easy for a business owner to get jaded and talk down to people instead of treating them as individuals, but he seems like a good dude who gives people the benefit of the doubt.

The location was beautiful and classy, and the decor and gardens were lovely. I attended a wedding reception here, but there was only one small bar, which wasn’t enough for the number of guests. That’s why I didn’t give it five stars.
