The Padstow Cottage - Coswarth House

Jack kept us entertained with his wit and was really helpful, and our room at Coswarth House was spacious, clean, comfortable and beautifully decorated. The location was perfect too. Our one drawback was having no breakfast on site. The breakfast at Rick Steins Cafe was very nice, but getting there wasn’t convenient when time mattered and could be difficult for someone with limited mobility. We had a good two-night stay overall and would recommend this lovely B and B.

We stayed in the Brunyee suite and would happily book it again when we return. The bedroom is beautifully done and just right for a couple, and the bathroom has plenty of space, with a shower and a big freestanding bath. We expected less from a place with only two rooms, but this lovely set of rooms and adjoining cottage exceeded our expectations.

Breakfast at the Rick Stein cafe was delicious, and the room was lovely with thoughtful little touches that made our stay feel special. The B&B is in a stunning spot near the harbour and has off-road parking. We’d happily recommend it and will stay again next time we’re in Padstow.

The owners were amiable and helpful, and the rooms were exceptionally clean and well fitted out. We had so much privacy that we never saw or heard the other guests. It’s a short walk downhill into Padstow, where we had breakfast at Rick Stien's cafe. The rooms are tastefully decorated and beautiful. It is a little steep if all you want is a standard B&B, though the quality is high. My only small gripe was that my latest flagship Samsung phone wouldn’t connect to the wifi. I meant to tell the owners, but forgot while we were loading up.
