We came back for our second stay at the horseshoes and did two nights B & B in the horseshoe suite. The upstairs bedroom was large, the room spotless, and the bed really comfortable. Downstairs there's your own sitting room with a very comfy settee. The bathroom has both a shower and bath, and there's a large TV plus plenty of tea and coffee. The full english breakfast had everything you'd expect, with extra toast, tea and coffee, plus cereals, juices and fruit. Evening meals are very filling too. Friendly staff and manager, and a fantastic place to stay and eat.

We were treated to a night away for our 40th wedding anniversary, and what a place. The rooms were great and VERY CLEAN. Heavy snow caused a power cut, so the staff asked us to come a little earlier for our 7.30pm meal. They were marvellous. We had a beautiful dinner by candle 🕯 light, then stayed in the pub with the staff beside a blazing fire 🔥. The power came back at 11pm. Breakfast the next morning, cereals and a full English, was superb. We'd definitely recommend it and go again.

After a busy couple of days around North Yorkshire, we visited NYMR (railway). The pub is walkable from Levisham Station, though we drove with our little one in tow. We stopped here for lunch before heading home and found a gem. Great food and service, nicely balanced. Check the food service times so you don't miss out. A country pub worth visiting when you're in the Moors.

Had a fabulous Turkey lunch here on Sunday. The food was gorgeous and the service excellent. The gentleman host really makes the place shine, with a lovely welcoming feel. Would highly recommend.

Late August Sunday lunch has to be here. There's a fantastic three course menu, with great choices before and after the roast, which is always good. Lovely range of beers and wines, and a fabulous array of zeros, from Guinness to cider.
