Annslea Garden Cottage

We were four people staying for a weekend and came away happily surprised. The two bedrooms sit at opposite ends of the cottage, which gave us plenty of privacy, and both have good-sized bathrooms. I especially appreciated the space for toiletries and makeup, plus the bathroom dressing table made a handy place to get ready. The beds were very firm and comfortable. The kitchen is compact but has everything you need, and the freshly painted cottage looked clean and bright. The owners were friendly and available if we needed anything. If this counts as a 'no frills' cottage, I'd love to see the ones with frills. Really, there was nothing to dislike, and we hope to visit again.

Breakfast was delicious, and the guest house has a lovely homely feel with thoughtful details throughout. The hosts were warm and the facilities fantastic. It's peaceful and just a short walk from Pitlochry's main street. I couldn't fault Annslea guest house.

We've also stayed in the cottage, a lovely separate building on the grounds. On this visit, our newly decorated room was very nice. Gerry and Karen always make an extra effort for guests. A great family B&B, highly recommended.

Annslea is our go-to B&B in Pitlochry. The location works perfectly for the town centre and theatre, and we're always made to feel welcome. The accommodation is comfortable and lovely, and breakfast is appealing and well prepared every morning. We love coming back.
