Premier Inn Poole North

The place looks great, and the location, service, staff, and even the other guests all made the stay feel special. If Punam is serving, Paul (the chef) is cooking, and Luisa is handling check-in, you’re in good hands. We had a brilliant time for however long we were there.

Poole deserves more than a couple of days, especially if you’re into nature. The harbour is the UK’s biggest natural one, and the area felt tidy and well looked after. I’d stay a week to see more of it. At the hotel, the quiet really surprised me. The sound insulation is so good that it was peaceful, and the food was great too. The £27 dinner and breakfast deal is a good shout if you’ve just arrived after a long trip. This may be the best Premier Inn I’ve stayed at, with caring staff and great service.

The restaurant food was amazing, and the staff were hardworking and really helpful. But the room had a few problems: you have to ask for it to be cleaned, the basin had no hot water in the morning, and the heating made a hell of a racket each time it turned on or off. It was loud enough to disturb my sleep. I stayed at a Premier Inn in December and didn’t run into any of this.

After a long day, the room was just right: clean, fresh linen, a big TV, and a fantastic shower with a huge head and different heat and pressure settings. Getting here by car was easy, though parking seemed limited for a hotel with over 300 rooms. The portions were generous and the food was delicious. There was a good range of lager, beer, wine, and spirits, too. We’d definitely use Premier Inns again, and I’d recommend it to others.
