The veggie haggis was really nice, and breakfast service was good. Staff were friendly, and the room was comfortable with a decent amount of space. There’s a small TV, which is fair enough since you’ll probably spend most of your time outdoors. The bar brings in locals as well as guests, so it can get a little noisy, though people generally wrap up by 10pm and it shouldn’t affect your sleep. WiFi didn’t reach the room well, I assume the range was the issue. That was the only negative for me, and I’d definitely come back.

We tried five different dishes, and everyone was happy with what they picked. Prices were very reasonable, with a great atmosphere and excellent service too. I went for dinner with five friends last night, and since it’s out of season, getting a table was no problem. I can imagine you’d need to book during tourist season. Highly recommended, we’ll definitely be back. ⭐️🍽️

Being right in the town center was handy, with a few restaurants nearby. The heater worked very well, and breakfast service was very good. But my room was tiny, and from the second floor I could hear the live band, thankfully only until 11pm. The bed was hard, and the rugs in both the hotel and room need replacing. If I come back, I’d stay somewhere else.

The cafe downstairs smelled of wet carpet and beer in the morning, which put me off eating. The food was average and the service was awful. At night there was noise from the cafe until late, followed by vacuuming after 23:00, and I could hear other guests snoring loudly. The rooms are dated little cubicles. A tour booked this place for me, but it left a lot to be desired. I’d ask to avoid this hotel, as other properties were much better.
