The only thing that didn't suit us was having to share one duvet, as we're used to having two separate ones. Otherwise, we found the room comfortable and high standard, the bed good, and the bathroom well kept with lovely hot water. Everything was clean and maintained well. Breakfast at the nearby Uig Hotel was excellent, freshly made to order from the menu, and within walking distance. Old Pier Cottage is very central as a base for the Isle of Skye, with a fantastic bay view. We stayed two nights and can highly recommend it.

We loved watching the sea from this cozy, charming place. The location is perfect, it's walkable to the Uig Hotel where breakfast is served, and the food was typical Scottish fare. It was well priced too. My husband and I stayed three nights and adored it. I'd recommend staying here.

The restaurant staff were really nice and had lots of tips on where to go and how to avoid the overcrowded spots. The veggie breakfast was awesome, and you can have breakfast and dinner at the owners' restaurant, about a 10-15 minute walk uphill or two minutes by car. From the room, you can see the shore and the ferry haven across the bay. It was clean and comfortable, and we had a lovely stay. Hiking spots like Old Man of Storr and Quiraing are about a 20-minute drive away. Thank you so much! Highly recommended 😊

Billy and Anne were so accommodating. They found us somewhere to dine and really helped us get our lost luggage back. They made sure we enjoyed our stay, and breakfast was excellent. The room was spacious and very clean, with a breathtaking view. This B&B is perfect!

The room was cozy and nice, with a great harbour view and a good bathroom. The staff were nice, and since it's part of Uig hotel, you can go up there for a $5 breakfast. It's handy if you're catching the ferry, close to Uig and about a 30-minute drive from Portree. It was a bit pricey during peak season.
