The only good part of the experience was one lovely woman who cleaned the room early so we could check in ahead of time. The next day, we booked another stay and paid, then were told there were no rooms available. They said they'd arrange a refund, but it was already late at night. It was extremely unprofessional and left us in a difficult position. Don't book if you're looking for professionalism.

*AVOID AT ALL COSTS* There were broken sockets with live wires exposed, a broken window, a bathroom door off its hinge, and leaking sink and toilet. Mould was everywhere, the toilet was black, and rotten food was scattered around. There was rubbish on top of the wardrobe, dirty bedding and towels, and hair and sand all over the shower. The TV screen had a red line through it. The place stank of cannabis, residents were drunk and using drugs, and there was no staff or service. I've seen crack houses and squats that looked better. It's vile, a disgrace and a complete waste of land. In my view, it shouldn't still be open, and I'll report it to everyone I can. You'd have a better chance of sleeping on the street. Avoid this hotel at all costs.

It's a horrible place with an uneasy feeling. There seemed to be no fire safety and no staff. The people behind the bar appeared to let kids take up tables to watch the football. Even the police said not to stay here. The people writing good reviews must be staff or friends.

It's a nice, clean basic hotel, perfect for a getaway when you want to be right by the beach. The rooms and social areas are nice and modern, and you get in with door codes. The only possible downside is hearing the code machines make warning sounds. The hallways are dated, but at least they're clean. I only saw a couple of staff members and didn't need any help, though they were nice and polite.
