Beaches Hotel

Elizabeth Mason gave us helpful advice when we booked my father-in-law’s wake. The team made sure everything ran smoothly, and nothing seemed too much trouble. The buffet was fresh and nicely laid out. It was a warm, dignified day, and our family and friends were very pleased with how it went during a difficult time.

The location worked really well for exploring this part of Wales, and there was plenty of room in the car park. Staff were friendly and always ready to help. Our room was a good size, clean and comfortable. Breakfast had a nice range of options, including decaf coffee and tea, which many places don’t offer.

The pool was one of the best we’ve been in, clean and well cared for, with just the right temperature. We’ll come back, as the staff, pool and food make the trip worthwhile, though the surrounding area isn’t the nicest to explore. The hotel itself is lovely and spotlessly clean. Room 223 was great, with a lovely bathroom. The food was nice, but not what I’d call four-star quality. The crumble was made with broken biscuits that were still visible, and the apple stalks and cherry stones hadn’t been removed before cooking, which was a bit disappointing.

The facilities were clean and excellent, and everything from our room and breakfast to the service and staff was 10/10. We thoroughly enjoyed the stay and plan to come back a few times this year. Thank you :)
