The staff were really friendly and helpful, and we had a lovely stay. Our first room had a failed window seal, which wasn’t ideal during a storm, but they sorted it promptly and offered us another room one floor below. That room was fine. It was clean, with a comfortable bed, plenty of hanging space and drawers, plus an iron and board and a decent hairdryer. The shower was lovely and strong, and the bath was nice too. I used and enjoyed both. The chair and side table by the window were comfy, and it was nice to find Yorkshire Tea and Tunnocks biscuits. We enjoyed the evening meal and would recommend it. Breakfast had a good choice and the food quality was great, with fresh fruit, yoghurt, juices, pastries, toast and help-yourself cooked items. The eggs had stayed under the warmer a bit too long, though, and the cheese and meats were too close to it, so they didn’t taste good warm. We’d definitely return. Thank you, Ramsey Park Hotel.

We’ve stayed here several times and it keeps pleasing us. The staff work hard to make your visit enjoyable, and even when rushed off their feet they’re still smiling and happy to help. Brian, Wendy, Janet, Rene, and others whose names escape me deserve credit for doing their best. Breakfast has a great range, whether you want continental, cooked food or fruit, and the restaurant serves a varied selection of good meals. My wife especially likes the special soups. The hotel is clean and tidy, and the rooms are a good size and well attended. Of course nowhere is perfect, but expecting a 5-star hotel for a 3-star price is a dream. This is a good hotel!

We found it easy to feel welcome, thanks to the helpful, friendly staff who went out of their way for us. Breakfast being included was a nice extra. The rooms are spacious, lovely, well appointed and very comfortable, with a firm bed and wonderful complimentary treats. The hotel is in a beautiful spot, ideally placed for a short walk into Ramsey town centre and its amenities.

The staff were friendly, and the bed itself was comfortable, but the pillows weren’t. The room was comfortable enough too, though getting out of the bath was difficult. The body wash was lovely. We booked the winter deal for £104 per couple, with a 2-course dinner, breakfast and a complimentary bottle of wine due in the room on arrival. It wasn’t there, so we had to ask for it with dinner. We paid an extra £5 per meal for sirloin steak. Dinner was okay, the cheeseboard was nice, but the chips were frozen rather than homemade. Breakfast was buffet style, so the food wasn’t as hot as it should be. Nobody mentioned that poached eggs were an option instead of scrambled when we were shown to our table. The orange juice was unpleasantly sweet, the coffee offered was instant rather than from the machine, and the pastries didn’t look very appetising.

Breakfast offered a great range for different tastes, and service was good throughout. The rooms were comfortable, with excellent heating and a strong, satisfying shower. Ramsey Park Hotel is nicely situated in Ramsey and made for a pleasant, relaxing stay.
