Faenol Fawr Hotel

Hi Lilli and everyone, Thank you for making us feel so welcome at my mother-in-law's funeral tea. The room was warm and cosy, just right for sitting together and reminiscing, and there were plenty of hot drinks. The finger food was excellent and the staff were lovely. We hadn't been here for a few years, and were pleased to see how tidy, clean and modern everything feels while still fitting in with the history of the old building. We got married on one of the wettest days of 2025, and I don't think I've ever been so well sheltered by umbrellas 🤣. Our guests had a brilliant time, and we really appreciated everyone going out of their way for us so many times. Jonathan was a huge help throughout the planning. Nothing was too much trouble, and the day itself was amazing thanks to you and your staff. We can't thank you enough for everything. Looking forward to coming back for a visit sometime. The setting was beautiful, the food excellent, and the staff very friendly. We did enjoy our wedding evening, but the planning communication was poor and several important details were mishandled. After the ceremony we felt short on guidance, and some staff seemed unprofessional and unhelpful. I sent polite feedback about our experience, but after several days there was still no reply. That has added to my concern about the venue's professionalism. I hope the organisation and communication improve for future couples. Thank you.

We had a very pleasant funeral tea here. The room suited the occasion and the setting was lovely. The homemade buffet was good quality, and the staff were pleasant and efficient. I'd recommend the Faenol Fawr.
