At least the train station is close, and the receptionist was a nice person, though they always seemed to be awake. I wouldn't stay more than one night. The room stank, and the sheets and pillows smelled like feet. The windows wouldn't shut or lock, and the heater didn't work. The bathroom door wouldn't close properly, so even when it was “closed” you could see the toilet. The bed had springs, but lying on it felt like being put on a board designed for spinal recovery.

We left in the early hours rather than stay in that bed, which offered about as much support as a medieval rack. We had supposedly booked a deluxe room. The bedding and towels smelled damp, the pillows were lumpy and cheap, and springs stuck out all over the cheap bed. There was limescale on the taps and shower, mould on the shower curtain, and we couldn't sleep. Women sat outside the hotel screaming and shouting all night. We had come for Rugby World Cup this weekend and expected parking, but there were no spaces. The room was shabby, and after sleeping in that awful bed we felt like we'd played in the front row for England. This is the worst hotel I've stayed in, a dump and a waste of money. We left the cast of one flew over the cuckoos nest to their moonlight howling. I'd like the owners to contact me and arrange a refund. Let's see if that happens. I'll update you if there's any news.

It's in a convenient spot for Richmond, but the building is very run down. The shower was almost impossible to use, with a choice between a cold shower and flooding the bathroom. The room had a musty smell, with a slight hint of incense, and the windows wouldn't stay shut. I've stayed here three times in the past two years, but I won't come back. The owners need to invest in a substantial refresh.

I was absolutely fuming and went downstairs to speak to the receptionist, though there wasn't much he could do. I tried to find someone from management, but no luck. My wife and I stayed from the 29th to the 30 of August 25, after having stayed here in 2018, and the place was completely different. The room was dusty, the bed was small, the tap ran slowly, and everything smelled damp. The shower tap was filthy and covered in limescale, so we had to clean everything ourselves. The kettle was nasty, the cups were dirty, and there was faeces at the bottom of the toilet. Spiders on the walls ended up in our room too. This place is a dump, not fit for people to stay in. It was the worst holiday and money spent.
