The only good thing was the location, about a five-minute walk from Rugby town centre. Otherwise, the room and hotel were in terrible shape. There was no TV, despite the home page saying otherwise, no Wi-Fi despite the notice on the room wall, and no hot water from either the bathroom taps or the shower. The toilet wouldn't flush properly and kept filling after every use. There was no double glazing or central heating. I stayed in November when it was -4, and the rest of the hotel had no heating either. When I asked for another room, they refused, saying the hotel was full. Towels weren't cleaned or replaced, despite what the wall sticker said. The floor was filthy with dust and debris, and it seemed like the room hadn't been properly cleaned in a long time. There was just one tea bag, and the kettle was so disgusting I didn't use it. They gave me a small oil heater that could barely keep a gerbil warm. I hardly slept. I had paid for two nights, but after telling them all this, they still wouldn't refund me. No surprise there, it seems like they'll be going out of business. Avoid.

It's only about five minutes from the city centre, which is a great location, but this was a horrible place to stay. The hallways were dusty and dirty, and the room seemed not to have been cleaned at all. The towels were wet and dirty; the floor was covered in debris, and the bed sheet and pillowcase had large, visible stains. I always bring a pillowcase just in case, and was glad I had it this time. I booked a room with all facilities, but there was no kettle, TV, or Wi-Fi. I asked reception about the kettle and was told to buy coffee outside. The booking page said there was a TV, and the FAQ clearly said Wi-Fi was available in every room. Losing internet meant I had to postpone meetings and caused a lot of inconvenience. The place is damaged throughout and needs a huge refurbishment. Disgusting. Don't stay here.

The staff were welcoming and made sure we were looked after. It's in a great location near the rugby centre. I had a very pleasant stay and would be happy to visit again.

The restaurant food was beautiful, and the staff catered to all my needs. I had such an enjoyable, relaxing stay that I've already booked another week. One of the best hotel experiences I've had, and I'd recommend it to anyone. Thank you to everyone there.

I booked at the last minute for four days and got a great price. The staff were friendly, and the room was good for what I paid. It's not luxurious, but you get what you pay for. I'd recommend it.
