Premier Inn Manchester Salford Quays

I felt a bit vulnerable walking alone from the tram stop in the dark, which is why I’m giving four stars. The room itself was clean, warm, and nice, and I could adjust the temperature. The bed was comfy.

The room was clean and cosy, and the staff were friendly and helpful. We booked because we were seeing a show nearby, and the location was ideal. It was lovely to walk by the Quay and look out over the water. A great spot if you want to shop or catch a show.

The rooms felt tight, and I could hear the person next door snoring through the connecting door, as well as talking on the phone earlier. I wish we’d chosen a higher rated hotel. Still, the location was great, and the service and breakfast were good. If you’re looking for quality, you’ll find it here.

I started shaking and stuttering when my anxiety kicked in. I’d come to check in without my booking details, thinking I could just give my name, but my company had booked under a different name. With hundreds of staff, I had no idea which name they’d used. I tried calling the office, but nobody answered at first. Katarina at reception was so helpful. She offered me water and joked that what I needed was a strong coffee. Then she went to the restaurant and brought me an espresso. I calmed down, called the office again, and finally got through, so we sorted everything out. Amazing staff.
