The Spa Hotel

The breakfast view over the beach was a lovely start to the day, before we walked down to the pier. We booked the winter offer as a birthday treat for my partner. I don't know the area well, but the place matched the pictures and didn't disappoint. The rooms were stylish, clean and well presented, with comfortable beds and plenty of space. We enjoyed the restaurant meal, especially sharing the cheese board for dessert. The offer felt like really good quality for the money. The Spa Hotel was cosy, and a massage at The Amber Rooms made the weekend feel complete. I also want to mention Steve and the other staff working last night. A lady had a medical emergency after her meal, and they handled it kindly and discreetly. The other diners were reassured and disrupted as little as possible. Bonus points to Steve for the fun snoopy watch. Everyone was friendly and professional. We'd like to visit again if we're in the area.

We had the most beautiful stay at the spa hotel, in the outlook, a little self-catering house, for my partner's birthday. The sun was out, so we could sit on our private patio and enjoy the seaside feel. The accommodation was clean, fresh and homely, with all the little extras noticed. Staff were so friendly and helpful. We'd definitely recommend it and can't wait to visit again.

I just got back from a baby shower, and it was such a special time for our mum to be. The Sunday dinner was the best I've ever had. The room was stunning, and the host was so friendly and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble. Thank you! Highly recommend.

We visit The Spa quite often for breakfast since it's only three miles from our house. Today we had a table booked for eight, but the service from one particular waiter was terrible. I ordered Eggs Benedict with the eggs very well done, and asked if the berries on the pancakes were fresh because my daughter wouldn't eat frozen ones. He said they were fresh and served with honey, but the pancakes arrived covered in frozen berries, and the bottom one was mush. My daughter wouldn't eat them. My eggs were runny, so I sent them back. Everyone else had finished breakfast by the time mine came back, and it was cold. The hollandaise had formed a skin, the muffin was very hard to cut, and the eggs were still gooey inside. I specifically asked for them well done because I don't like any runny or gooey yolk, and I'm pregnant. When the waiter asked if everything was okay, I explained the problems. He argued that the eggs were cooked and the food wasn't cold. His attitude was disgusting and made me very uncomfortable. I didn't even dare mention the pancakes. Very disappointing.
