Sibton White Horse Inn

The Sunday roast beef was second to none, the best Sunday lunch we’ve had out, and we eat out often. My husband also loved the fish and chips, and my fish pie was delicious. We were staying locally in a rented property for Christmas and visited three times that week for dinner and drinks. Neil, his wife and the team made us and our dog feel extremely welcome. The atmosphere was warm and friendly, with locals who made us feel part of a real community. It’s cosy but still sophisticated, and we liked the separate areas for people dining with dogs. Booking is important. The rooms look fantastic, and we’ll definitely return.

The rooms were comfortable, clean and well equipped, and the value was good. This is a lovely traditional Suffolk pub with good beer, friendly, great service and a surprisingly good evening meal. The menu is limited, but what we had was perfectly cooked. I’d love to come back and stay a few days. Highly recommend.

Had lunch at the pub with family. In a part of the country full of lovely old pubs, many of them serving good food, this one is above average. The fish pie was full of tasty fish without too much filler. I’m sure I’ll be back soon.

The room was just right and really comfortable, and the owners and staff looked after us so well. We had a wonderful two night stay at the SWH, with fantastic food and a thoroughly delightful experience. Thank you!
