The trail was so close to the King William that it made a great stop on our Peddars Way walk. My wife, daughter and I spent just one afternoon and night there in September, but it became a highlight of our two weeks in England. We enjoyed the lovely inn and its pretty outdoor seating area, and our rooms were comfortable and well appointed. The breakfast was hearty and delicious. Staff were exceptionally friendly, and I liked chatting with the cheerful local patrons over local cask ales in the pub. Thanks to everyone at the King William for making our stay so enjoyable!

The rabbit pie was lovely, though a little salty for my taste. Seasoning is so personal, and that pudding crust was exquisite, so I couldn't hold it against the meal. V's steak fries were cooked perfectly, too. Service was friendly and attentive, and the food was fantastic. It was a quiet Monday night in January, so the atmosphere wasn't quite there, but that's what I expected. I'd definitely visit again, which is why I gave it five stars.

We picked the King William IV for a quiet break from the Christmas run-up, and Sedgeford suited us well. It's a peaceful village about four miles from Hunstanton, with a good beach nearby for walking. We slept well, and the rear-facing room looked out over a pleasant garden area. We'd stayed at other Coaching Inn locations before. This one is smaller, more of a pub with a decent-sized dining room and, I believe, nine rooms. We were shown to our Classic room straight away. It was bright and clean, with the usual comforts, and the two single beds together made a good-sized double. Dinner was three courses, with reasonable prices and plenty of choice along pub-menu lines. The staff were excellent, friendly and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. Breakfast was just as good: cereals, juices and bread were already on the table, and there was a good cooked selection. We had Eggs Benedict and Eggs Royal, both excellent. We had a wonderful stay and look forward to coming back.

The pub's lovely gardens and ambience made a nice setting for my birthday meal. We were given a warm, friendly welcome, and the turkey and beef were both lovely, with generous portions of potatoes and vegetables. Dessert was Panna Cotta, which was beautiful. We'll definitely be back.

The local people in the hotel bar were really friendly, welcoming and helpful. We also had a fabulous overnight stay at the King William IV in Sedgeford. The reception staff were friendly, and our room was clean, comfortable and had some nice little touches. We enjoyed a fabulous Sunday roast for dinner, then a very nice breakfast the next day. Julie, our lovely waitress, made breakfast even better and shared some great information about local places to visit. A very positive experience, and we'd definitely stay here again.
