Leonardo Hotel Sheffield

We enjoyed the breakfast, and my friend appreciated the gluten-free options. The beds and pillows were really comfortable, the room was clean and a decent size, and the location worked well for Sheffield theatres. It was quiet, and the staff were smiley. We also appreciated being offered late checkout and a voucher for coffee and a discount in the bar, even though we didn’t have time to use the voucher. Our booking was for three adults, but the tea bags, bottled water, biscuits and towels were set up for only two, and there were no toiletries. If there’d been enough supplies for all three of us, I’d have given five stars. We were there just one night and short on time, so we didn’t contact reception.

The staff are what made this stay so memorable. Everyone was attentive and friendly, offered helpful recommendations and handled requests promptly. Check-in was easy, and I felt welcome as soon as I arrived. Breakfast was a highlight, with fresh, good-quality food, plenty of choice and attentive service. The common areas were inviting, and the facilities were well maintained and never crowded. My room was spotless, thoughtfully equipped and beautifully designed. The bed and linen were lovely, and little details like the lighting and amenities had clearly been considered. Housekeeping kept everything in perfect shape during my visit. I’m already looking forward to coming back, and I’d happily recommend the hotel to anyone looking for comfort, quality and great service. It felt like a real home away from home.

The room was clean and in good condition, and the location was ideal for walking around the city, with plenty of parking nearby. I liked the comfortable bed and the desk area, though the plastic chair could have been more comfortable. The toilet cistern was cracked and kept leaking slowly. Breakfast was okay, but could have had more variety.

Friendly service and good value for a hotel near both the station and city centre. The price was budget, but the quality felt standard. The bathroom was a good size, and the TV was too. There was tea and coffee in the room, with a wide range of teas. The only issues were a lift keycard that failed once and a shower that could have had stronger pressure.
