Sally made breakfast a real highlight, greeting us every morning with a smile and a friendly chat, even when she was rushed off her feet. There was plenty of choice, including vegetarian and vegan options, and the food was nice. Our family room was clean and worked well for us, and the town was easy to get to. We stayed over New Year and had a great experience.

The staff were easy to approach, and when I asked, they brought me ice water for the night. I slept well in a spacious, quiet room with a comfortable bed, easy temperature controls, and a nice bathroom with strong pressure and plenty of hot water. The location was great too. I couldn't fault it.

The restaurant and bar made it easy to grab a quick bite and turn in, which suited a business stop. Getting there was straightforward, and parking was available for £6. My room was spacious and clean. Great stay.

Breakfast was excellent, with fresh, tasty food, and the staff were especially helpful. The service was well organised, and check-in went smoothly. We found the hotel clean and comfortable, and our quiet room and very comfortable bed made it easy to rest. It's also close to the city centre. We stayed one night and would happily come back.

It was full while we were there, yet we hardly saw anyone and it stayed quiet overnight. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the hotel itself was peaceful. I only used the parking and checked in, so I can't comment on the other public areas, but it made an excellent base.
