Travellers Rest Motel

The motel was just a 15-minute walk from fantasy island and the town, which worked perfectly for us. We stayed over the weekend and had really lovely, very clean rooms that suited a family well. The owner was friendly and lovely too. Thanks so much for having us, we’ll definitely be back and really recommend it!

Parking was sufficient, and it was a short walk to everything we needed. We had a great one-night stay: the room was very clean, and the service was pleasant and straightforward. Would recommend.

We’re on the third of five nights in a family room, and it’s clean and comfortable. The shower pressure is low, but there’s enough to shower and wash long hair. The owners have been pleasant and helpful with our questions and advice. It’s certainly cleaner than the well known holiday camp five minutes away, where we stayed last year. We’d stay here again if we get the chance. Thank you both.

This is a budget motel, so don’t expect The Ritz. We and the children were comfortable, and the rooms had what we needed. They were clean and the furnishings were acceptable, though it was clear there’d been a damp problem before. The location was fairly quiet, with a takeaway next door, and it’s a short walk or drive to the busier parts of Ingoldmells, or a short drive or bus ride into Skegness. The owners were friendly, and knowing they were at the property during the day made me more comfortable leaving our belongings there. I’d book again.
