Moxy Slough

The room was immaculate and very comfortable, and the reception staff were consistently pleasant, professional and helpful whenever we passed. I’d give full marks for the room, location and service. My one disappointment was the price. We paid well in advance under a locked-in members “Bonvoy” offer, then shortly after arriving I saw the same stay listed for 15% less. Being told it was a “special members rate” makes that hard to take. It’s not good.

After a host let us down through booking.com, we tried several hotels around Windsor and Slough without finding a room, then came across Moxy. At almost 1am, the manager was keen to find us a very clean room, and we’re so grateful. The staff were happy, polite and really friendly. The price was brilliant given the circumstances. 10/10, we’ll stay again! ☺️

I got lost looking for the car park, but Christian, the supervisor, was great and clearly explained where to go. The staff were very kind, and the room was clean and good. The shower was great, they supplied an extra pillow, and there were free welcome drinks. From my first enquiry by phone, everything went perfectly. Thanks to supervisor Christina as well for the help and advice on taking the tube into central London. I’d definitely recommend it.

The location makes getting around easy, with a train station very close by, plus Tesco and various restaurants nearby. That convenience, along with comfortable, modern and spotless rooms, keeps bringing us back to the Moxy in Slough whenever we’re in London. It’s not our first visit, and every stay has been consistently good. The team are friendly and attentive, and make guests feel welcome. Anu deserves a special mention. During a recent incident, she handled everything with professionalism and personal care, and made us feel valued. Her warm manner adds a lot, and she’s a real asset to the team. She deserves recognition, perhaps a raise or promotion. We always look forward to coming back, and recommend the hotel to anyone visiting the area.
