The hotel has a nice country setting, reasonable prices, a decent room and lovely, friendly reception staff. The breakfast was a real letdown, though, and the chef was rude. It was ordered individually rather than served buffet-style, which was a shame. There were no vegan choices, and I and about five other guests asked for non-pork sausages, but they didn’t have any. They should consider adding those. I ordered a full English with a well-done fried egg and bacon, but got an omelette-style egg and bacon that wasn’t cooked enough for me. When I sent it back, I clearly heard the chef tell the waiter, “no more stupid orders.” The kitchen is inside the restaurant, so it was plain to hear. That’s the last thing you want to hear while someone is cooking your food, and it made for a very unpleasant atmosphere.

Our Mendhi at Pinewood Hotel was an amazing event. Rienna was so helpful when we booked, answering all our questions about hiring the venue. On the day, Omar pitched in, answered our questions and helped everything run smoothly. They were both professional and a pleasure to work with. Thank you both!

If you need a hotel near pinewood, this place fits the bill. The restaurant food is really good, and the staff are friendly and keen to help. There’s plenty of parking, and the rooms aren’t too noisy, though the air con can sometimes be a bit loud. The hotel is a little dated, and the hot water wasn’t especially hot. For the price I paid, I can’t complain.

I was stranded at Heathrow for two days in July and booked through Hotwire. The hotel was farther away than I wanted, but the price was excellent and it’s only a 30min Uber each way. I’m glad I chose it. It was peaceful and quiet, with a great restaurant and lovely grounds. They didn’t even charge me for the raspberries I grazed on during a walk!

I felt welcome from the beginning. The team were always smiling, warm and attentive, and the property was spotless. The cared-for gardens and outdoor areas gave it a peaceful, relaxing feel. The meals were fresh and tasty, and the location is ideal for exploring Pinewood studios, Windsor Castle and the surrounding area.
