Grace at reception was especially helpful when we arrived. Electrical maintenance was happening along our corridor, and she went out of her way to make sure we reached our room safely. We really appreciated that, and the fish and chips shop next door she recommended was lovely. We stayed two nights while visiting Fort Nelson, which was easy to reach from here. Our room was spacious, warm and clean. We also found a TGI Friday's nearby and ate there one night. There are shops around if you want to leave the car, and the main roads to nearby towns are easy to get to. We’d definitely stay here again if we were in the area.

After a long day of travel, it was a pleasure to relax here. The surroundings were peaceful and quiet, the Wi-Fi was more reliable than at other places I’ve stayed, and there was ample parking. The location is excellent, reception staff welcoming, and the rooms impeccably clean and thoughtfully laid out. One of the finest hotels I’ve had the pleasure of staying in. I highly recommend it.

We’d stayed at the Premier Inn at Port Solent before and found it fine, though parking was a problem there. Parking wasn’t an issue here, and this place felt more secure. We preferred the Fareham location and will stay here again.

Harry’s care really showed in breakfast this morning at the Premier Inn Fareham. I asked for two poached eggs, and he was happy to make them. When I reached the counter, he was drying the extra water off both the eggs and the plate. It’s a small detail, but it made a difference. Tina was lovely with my colleague and me too. She was smart, polite, and especially welcoming. Even though the dining room is self-service, she offered to bring us another drink while clearing tables. Thanks to them both.

The only real drawback is that there’s no evening meal available apart from TGI Friday's next door, though the hotel does make that clear when you book. Otherwise, we really liked this Premier Inn. The rooms were clean and roomy, breakfast was excellent, and reception staff were helpful and polite. We usually stay in Eastleigh, but this place cost a lot less without any drop in service, and the car park is bigger. We’d definitely stay again.
