Seven Hotel

We had a great time and enjoyed the lovely views from the deck as well as the ocean view from our room. The staff were extremely friendly, and room service brought good coffee. Just watch out in the bathroom, the walk-in shower left water all over the floor.

The food was a real highlight, interesting, tasty, and nicely presented. My room was clean, warm, and comfortable, with a lovely view over the estuary. I’m elderly and stayed here while my daughter sorted out my house move, and the reception and restaurant staff took good care of me. I’d come back if I needed a change of scenery. I’ve included photos of two breakfast dishes.

I was on the first floor, and the room was dusty. The TV is right by the entrance, so I nearly walked into it a couple of times, completely sober. The shower overflowed into the bedroom. I took a photo to show what happened. Since I’m disabled, I was worried about slipping, so I explained the problem to a gentleman at the desk and asked if I could have a shower mat. I was given three towels instead, which left me confused, and was told management would be in at 8 o’clock the next morning. I didn’t feel safe using towels to stop myself slipping and hitting my head, so I had to go without a shower. I’m very unsatisfied.

Back for my second stay, and I loved it again. The staff were friendlier this time and served us with a smile. I slept well, though the pillows were very soft. Waking up to a sea view was lovely, even with grey skies, at least it wasn’t raining.
