The Whispering Pine Lodge

Breakfast and dinner were tasty, and thanks to all the chefs for that. The staff were very nice, and our room was clean with an amazing view of the mountains and lake. The hotel is in a beautiful, peaceful spot. We really enjoyed our time there. Best experience.

The food really impressed me, with a great range and thought given to different cultures. The chef brought unique flavors to every dish. Staff were absolutely wonderful, so kind and attentive, and all the services were available. The rooms with a view are amazing too. A delightful experience, thank you all ❤️

The sauna was a favorite for my wife, especially with that majestic view. There’s a full spa at Whispering Pines, but book ahead because they were fully booked today. We were impressed by the food. The kitchen had a wide range of gluten-free options, and a full menu listing different food allergies. The prawns with homemade cocktail sauce were delicious, my wife loved her salmon, and my sirloin was a bite of heaven. The desserts looked tempting, but we couldn’t manage another bite. The rooms were comfortable and spotless, and the staff were among the friendliest we’ve met on this vacation. When we pulled into the driveway, my wife and I both said the pictures don’t do Whispering Pines justice. We’d found a gold mine.

The staff really made the stay. Everyone was friendly, helpful, and nice, a fantastic team I’d recommend. The room was spacious and very nice, and the hotel was nicely decorated. We enjoyed the food in the brasserie, then had an evening drink in the Burns bar after dinner. Breakfast was great too, with a view over the loch. Fantastic stay.
