Boskerris

The seaside views are stunning, and the staff were genuinely friendly and helpful. We had a good stay overall, though parts of the hotel could use an update. The restaurant didn’t quite meet our expectations; I can imagine other people enjoying it more than we did, but we found better value in St Ives. WiFi barely worked, and mobile service in the area wasn’t great either. That probably won’t matter much if you’re coming for the solitude and relaxation you can find here.

Breakfast was the standout for us. The Vegetarian breakfast and Eggs Royal were delicious, and having them with those surreal views made for a lovely, cozy morning. We also had a relaxing dinner at the in-house restaurant, and found the seaside-chic rooms really comfortable. The bay views and elegantly curated decor made Boskerris feel like a pleasant, luxurious oasis. We hadn’t planned to stay here at first. We were meant to be down the road at a Sykes Cottages property, but Sykes hadn’t arranged check-in and we couldn’t get hold of them. A kind local put us in touch with Boskerris Hotel, where the staff were wonderfully accommodating, warm and welcoming, as well as keenly professional. We’re very grateful, and I can’t recommend them enough.

Boskerris is the most beautiful hotel I’ve come across in all my years of travelling for a living. The views are breathtaking, the cuisine superb, and the staff extremely friendly. They quickly organised our stay, outings and schedule. I’ll definitely come back!

The terrace was a lovely spot for a tipple and the view, and the weather was fantastic. We had a warm, friendly welcome, with Anne on reception being especially attentive and helpful. The location is great, with lovely views and the St Ives to Penzance railway just a few minutes’ walk away. We stayed in August, and the beautiful decor and comfortable bed made the holiday feel quite special. Breakfast was lush, dinner hit the spot, and all the staff helped make our visit to Carbis Bay really memorable.
