Premier Inn Stockport South

The food was delicious at both dinner and breakfast, and the restaurant was kept clean and well maintained. I stayed two nights on a work trip and ate there each day. One evening the team had a lot go wrong at once, including trouble with the tills, but they handled a difficult shift as well as they could and kept their customer service strong. What stayed with me most was how much they looked out for each other. Gem was patient and supportive while helping Brooke, who was new, take orders and learn the basics. The kitchen staff helped clear plates and bring dishes out, and they encouraged Brooke too. She’d only been there a short time but did her best to keep up, was always available, and remained polite and well presented. The whole team should be proud of how they pulled together. Thanks for a great visit.

I’m here every week and even when it’s busy, the service keeps moving smoothly. Gemma, Helia and Mark are top tier, always warm and friendly. Nothing to complain about. See you next week, team, keep it up 👌🏻

Mark went out of his way to arrange a late room change when I had a broken ankle. Really helpful. I had a great two night stay, and all the staff were friendly. The hotel’s well placed too, with buses stopping right outside every five minutes for Stockport or Manchester.

We got there later than expected, around 20:30, and thought we’d missed the chance to eat, but the restaurant was still able to fit us in. Gemma B was a lovely host and told us about the meal deal: dinner, a drink and breakfast for £26.99. We were very happy with it. It was just a one night stop for my son and me. The hotel was easy to find, there was plenty of parking, and reception staff welcomed us warmly.
