Potbank Aparthotel

There's free Wi-Fi, and it's a decent place to stay, but people outside were laughing loudly and woke me at 7 on Sunday morning. Also, only three spaces outside the restaurant are for hotel guests. The rest of the car park belongs to the council and costs money. Stop at the red door of the security hut by the front gate and enter your car details, or you could get fined. I found the reception hard to locate because there are no signs for it. I asked at the restaurant reception and they sent me to another employee to sign in. I'd give it 7 out of 10.

Good value, and the rooms are spacious, lovely and clean, and quiet. The downside is they're a long way from anything you might want to see, do or need while in Stoke-on-Trent. The location really isn't good.

They cancelled my card four times, then cancelled the booking altogether without explaining why. They don't answer calls, emails or messages. The whole thing was ruined. Be careful booking with them, I wouldn't trust them. Strongly don't recommend.

The blinds let in the morning sun, so the light reaches the room pretty quickly when I'm trying to sleep. The station location is great, but 10 AM checkout feels early too.
