The walk to the amazing Dunnottar castle is stunning, and the B&B is well placed for exploring Stonehaven too. The family gave good service and were very helpful and knowledgeable. Rooms are a decent size and private, though the mattress could be more comfortable. For one night it was fine. Breakfast is self-service and could be better. I missed having eggs and espresso, so if you care about protein and good coffee, it may suit you better to eat breakfast elsewhere. Great location.

We only had a short stay, but felt so welcome. The room was quaint, the host was inviting, and it's a lovely area for a walk in the evening.

The owner was very nice, and breakfast was good. The room and toilet were small but nice. It got very hot, and the window only opened a little. It's an old building, so you can hear a neighbour snoring really loudly. Bring earplugs. Also, avoid the ground floor if you want to sleep in, since the dining room and kitchen are above and you won't get much rest.

A warm welcome and a nice breakfast in a very sweet little cottage with seven small rooms and a lovely view. The walls are quite thin, though it was quiet at night. Our family luxury room was very small, right under the roof, and the decor wasn't our style. The bathroom was tiny too. The location is great for walking around town or the harbour. Clean and okay for one night.
