Premier Inn Sunbury - Kempton Park

The staff were professional, friendly, and always willing to help. Getting to transport and nearby attractions was easy, too. My room was quiet and clean, with everything I needed for a good night’s sleep. The bed was extremely comfortable, and the whole stay made it easy to relax. I had a fantastic time at Premier Inn Sunbury (Kempton Park), and thought it was great value. I’d happily recommend it to anyone wanting a comfortable, stress-free stay.

The car park was a problem from the start. I was given incorrect information about parking and spent the stay anxious that I might get fined. When I left, a cherry picker was on the level where I’d parked, making it difficult to get out. Absolute joke. I asked for the room to be cleaned, but nobody did it, so I had to get fresh towels myself. Breakfast was cold and dry, and there was no juice. Wanting breakfast late rather than early doesn’t justify that. The rooms were filthy, and I believe the aircon and heating system made me severely ill. I have asthma and know these systems can affect me if they aren’t maintained, and this one clearly wasn’t maintained enough. I’ve had to see a doctor and take antibiotics as a result. I should sue them, really. Worst Premier Inn ever.

The staff were amazing and the food was good, but the hotel needs some care or renovation. I stayed for two nights, and it wasn’t the usual Premier Inn experience I expect. In the first room there was no hot water from the bathroom sink tap, though the shower worked. I moved rooms, where the toilet seat lid fell off. There also seemed to be a leak on the 8th floor. Dust on top of the headboard and toilet roll holder made the rooms feel less clean than they should. The TV in the first room had poor picture and sound and felt outdated. The second room had a more modern one. Overall, the place felt a bit rundown.

The car park is beside the hotel and the rate was discounted to £7, though it’s small, multi-storey, and has a 2m height limit. It’s a handy base for Heathrow and the surrounding area, so I’ll probably come back here instead of staying closer to Heathrow. I was here for one work night. The room was clean and quiet, with the comfy bed you’d expect at a Premier Inn. Staff were friendly at check-in and again at breakfast. Decent Premier Inn.
