The staff were really helpful when my room flooded while I was out eating, and they moved me to another room. Unfortunately, that one had a strong cigarette smell. On my first visit, my room hadn't been cleaned properly either: there were false nails, used cotton buds and mild wrappers on the floor. The whole place could do with a good hoover. This was my second visit, and the hotel's condition is letting the staff down.

Breakfast was really good, and the staff were nice. The beds and bedding were lovely, and the place was generally clean and good. The heating was a small electric radiator, and no matter what I tried, it wouldn't connect to the room thermostat. It wasn't a big problem since the room wasn't cold in February. They said they'd look into it. I'd stay again. 👍

We dropped in for the unlimited buffet breakfast and really enjoyed the fresh, hot food. Scrambled and poached eggs were cooked to order; the rest was self-serve, with croissants, crumpets, several kinds of toast, jam, honey, cereals and juices, plus refillable hot drinks, all for one set price. The place was clean and relaxed, with a chilled atmosphere, soft rock and very pleasant staff. There's soft play for £4.50 I think, but it doesn't open until noon. Otherwise we'd come for breakfast on school holidays or weekends. Getting there was easy and there was plenty of parking. Remember to enter your car registration on the touchscreen when you arrive to get complimentary parking.

The room was comfortable and clean, as Premiere Inn rooms usually are, but the food was inedible. The fish had soggy batter and no taste, the chips were nothing special, and the peas were like cold bullets. The curry sauce, which cost £0.99 extra, was like yellow wallpaper paste. When the waitress cleared my plate, she didn't ask why I'd left 80% of the meal. I wouldn't be surprised if my stomach is off tomorrow. I had the meal deal, but won't be having breakfast. Looking at other reviews, it seems this place is known for very low-quality food.

The room had everything we needed and was spotless. Reception gave us a warm welcome, and the staff were friendly and very helpful. A lovely break away.
