Premier Inn Bagshot

Five stars from me because this place was as good as it could be for what it is and what we paid. It doesn’t claim to be a five-star hotel. There was plenty of parking, friendly staff, and a large, clean room with a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee facilities were provided, though bring your own biscuits. The shower room was decent and had soap and the basics. I can’t think of what they could have done better for the price.

We stayed one night on Saturday, 24th January. The bed was the usual good one, and the room was a reasonable size. On Sunday morning there was no hot water in the shower or even warm water, and the basin tap was the same. We left earlier than planned to find a hot shower and told reception on the way out. They said they’d check the boiler, but didn’t offer any compensation. I complained to Premier Inn customer service and was surprised they offered nothing. They said we told them after checking out, but we’d told them before we checked out.

I was here for business and really liked the place. It was very clean, and the staff were friendly and helpful. The Beefeater food was delicious and well cooked. I’d definitely come back if I’m in the area.

The rooms are nice, and reception was very helpful. There’s no air conditioning or elevator. The bar closes at 10pm, and when we said we’d just bought some drinks, the staff were rather offhand and wouldn’t let us stay in the bar to finish them.
