We’ve been bringing friends and family here for nearly two decades, and Becky always makes us feel at home. When we book, whether for 2 or 14, they ask if we want “your usual?” so those menu items are ready. The food is cooked just how we like it, and it’s a happy place to sit with friends and share a good meal. When we host family events at home without enough room for everyone, this is the first place we recommend. Friends who have stayed here have enjoyed the full hospitality and very comfortable rooms. Becky, thanks 😘

The food was 5 star, and the service was 11/10. The pub has a comfortable feel and a nice atmosphere, and the room was excellent quality. Everything was very, very clean. An absolute joy to stay, and I can't recommend it highly enough.

The roast was a highlight: the turkey crown was tender and tasty, with a good choice of vegetables, and the frangipane tart was excellent. Lovely food, a great atmosphere, and staff who were friendly, professional and helpful.

After a few years away, I came back for the first time and wasn't disappointed. I had a warm, friendly welcome, fabulous food and a great room. As a business traveller, I find many of the big chains simply don't compare. I'll definitely return.

There were 8 of us, and both the food and service were just what we hoped for. Everything was gorgeous, really tasty and inexpensive. The lady serving us was professional and had a good sense of humour. I’d recommend The Bulls Head to everyone, you won’t be disappointed.
