Travelodge Swansea Central

It was a good stay, and I’ll use it again when I take my son back to Uni. The room was laid out well, the bed was comfy and corridor noise was muted enough not to disturb us. Staff were very friendly, and check-in went smoothly. I gave it five stars because it had everything I wanted from a Travelodge: a bed for the night, a shower in the morning, and an easy check-in and check-out.

When I called the next day thinking I’d left a clothing item behind, they checked and got back to me to say I’d actually packed it, but that I’d left my husband’s grandmother’s gold ring. They sent it back without question. They didn’t have to do that, and their honesty meant everything. Thank you to everyone involved. We had three rooms while celebrating my and my dad’s birthdays, and the reception and bar staff were wonderful and helpful the whole time. They even served us coffee at midnight when we got back from celebrating. xxxxx

We paid extra for an upgraded room, but it was really disappointing. The loo was soiled, the coffee machine was dirty, and the bathroom extractor fan was caked in grime. The bed was very uncomfortable too. Not impressed.

A typical Travelodge right in central Swansea. There’s no hotel parking, but two public car parks are less than a minute away on foot. It was clean and comfortable, and the breakfast was good value, just what we needed.
