Heywood Spa Hotel

Dinner on Sunday was the best food we've ever tasted. I had the fish of the day, and my husband had roast lamb, which he said was the best meal he'd had all weekend. The restaurant food was so delicious we wanted more, and breakfast had a good choice too. We had a wonderful birthday weekend. Sean was amazing, attentive and ready to help with anything, and deserves a special mention. After our meal on the first night, they brought me lemon cake with a candle, which made the evening feel even more special. The receptionist was friendly and welcoming, showed us to the room and told us we'd been given a complimentary upgrade. The room was gorgeous, with its own balcony. We also loved the pool, jacuzzi and range of spa treatments.

We had a lovely time at the heywood. Sean was so nice to chat with, and the ladies at reception were lovely too. The outdoor heated tub was brilliant at 45 degrees. We might have stayed in longer if the owners had put an umbrella over it, but it was great fun. Good value, great food, and we'll definitely go back.

The food was delicious, especially the curries, and the chefs clearly take care with it. My wife really enjoyed her reflexology treatment, and the basic spa had what we needed to unwind and be pampered. We also liked having a comfortable lounge to relax in. We stayed for two nights and, even though we were the only guests checked in, the hotel looked after us to an exemplary standard. The staff made us feel as if the place were our own private hotel. Mandy & Carmen, the concierges, handled all our needs, and Illana served our meals very attentively. The rooms don't have any special features, but they're comfortable and open onto the garden on the ground floor. I’d recommend it for attentive personal service, a relaxed atmosphere and good food. We'll be back.

A relaxing spa, with a pool and expert treatments, was just right after a day out at the beaches. Heywood Spa Hotel combines a peaceful, luxurious feel with easy access to the coast near Tenby. The elegant rooms and excellent service made our stay feel indulgent and memorable. A great pick for a restorative South Wales getaway.
