I went to the pub and restaurant last weekend and loved the food. The loaded chips were the best I’ve ever had, and pints were £4 until 7pm. I’ll definitely visit again.

We’ve been coming here for over 10 years, but after this visit we won’t be back. We stopped in for a drink after our meal. My wife went in first while I walked our dog. A gentleman started talking to her as the barman put a pint of Guinness beside her. She didn’t know it was there and accidentally knocked it over. When I went to the bar, I was bluntly told I had to pay for another pint, and the attitude was awful. It was a pure accident, and she hadn’t even realised the drink was next to her. As a family, we would have spent over £50, but we just left because of the bar staff. Being charged £6.50 for a pint that would have led to £50 of spending was an absolute joke.
A stunning pub right in the heart of Tenby, and it’s huge. There’s also a beer garden with enamel beer and brewery adverts. It gave me the feel of a post house hotel, so perhaps they had stabling here in the old days.
I’ve never stayed overnight, so I can’t say anything about the rooms. It’s a cosy pub and a nice place to spend time, whether in the beer garden on a warm summer day or inside on a cold winter night. The food is always spot on and the portions are huge. Lasagne’s my favourite. I never have it anywhere else, it can’t be beaten here.
A friendly, characterful pub with plenty of space. There’s a screen you can see from anywhere you sit. I came back twice.
