The quiet spot was ideal, just a short walk from town, and I’d happily come back. Jan&Steve made me feel at home in their lovely period house. My room was cosy, tidy, clean and fresh smelling, with everything I needed for the night. Breakfast was made fresh to order.

We slept really well, with a comfortable bed and an excellent shower. Steve and Jan’s guest house has a lovely nostalgic feel and was very clean. Breakfast was delicious and served professionally. Steve greeted us on arrival, showed us to our room and even helped with some of our luggage. Both he and Ann were so thoughtful and went out of their way to help. Thanks again for a lovely stay, Lorraine and Timmy x

Breakfast was out of the park, and our hosts were friendly and generous. We only needed one night in Torquay, somewhere well located and reasonably priced. Ashleigh House fit the bill, and the room was comfortable with everything we needed. Totally recommend it.

We stayed from the 5th to the 7th of August, and the breakfast was out of this world. The food and drinks were excellent in both quality and quantity, and the views and setting were amazing. Ashleigh House is a lovely, well-organized place, about a 5 minute walk from Torquay town. Steve and Jan gave us a warm welcome and were friendly, professional and keen to help with everything. The rooms and service felt 5 star. It was a relaxing getaway, and we’ll be back soon. Thank you again, Steve and Jan. Highly recommend Ashleigh House.

We were visiting from New Zealand and had a great stay at Ashleigh House. Steve and Jan were friendly, welcoming hosts, and the house had a really warm feel. Our room and ensuite were spotless. We had the full English breakfast, which was the best we’d had on our trip around the UK. I’d thoroughly recommend staying here when visiting Torquay.
