The Belmont

Abi and her partner were fantastic hosts, so caring and considerate of what we needed with a small child. We stayed with our baby, and our room was spacious, lovely, very clean and comfortable. The price was amazing too. It's a beautiful B&B just a few minutes' walk from town. This was our first time staying in a B&B, but we had to leave early because of a personal situation. We'll definitely come back in future. Thanks again, hope to see you soon xx

Abi is a lovely host. A great place to stay, with pet friendly rooms, nice rooms and great food.

The owners were brilliant with our anxious dog. They offered her a bed and bowl, let us come down early for breakfast, and even gave her gluten free sausage so it wouldn't upset her tummy. The pre-order breakfast had extra meal options, and it was so good that even I wanted to get up early to eat it. We're close to the seafront too, and the people are really lovely. There are a lot of stairs to keep in mind, but the homemade biscuits left in the room make the climb worth it. I forgot to eat mine, sadly, but I'm sure they were delightful! There's a little table by the entrance with board games, including Scrabble and chess, plus hot water bottles, blankets, plates and cutlery for a takeaway, and umbrellas. They've thought of so much to make guests comfortable. Thank you both for making us feel so welcome and safe!

Abi and Andy made us feel so welcome and were excellent hosts. They shared tips on places to eat, and every place was really nice. We booked an extra night, so we spent our four-night stay in two different rooms. Both were lovely, very clean and had lots of personal touches. Breakfast was very nice with plenty of choice.
