Breakfast was great, and we enjoyed a delicious dinner there too. I stayed with my daughter as a birthday treat, and the friendly staff made us feel welcome. Our room was clean and roomy, and the location worked really well for us. A lovely little hotel, and I’d happily recommend a visit.

We came in for lunch rather than staying, and the food was superb. The service was just as good, and we’d gladly eat here again. It’s right in the centre of town on the pedestrianised access. We couldn’t find the hotel’s car park, though they do have one, so we parked in a public car park nearby. That may have been our mistake, but it’s worth checking the directions before setting off.

The staff were so friendly and welcoming to our dogs, and they even have a dog menu. Lunch was amazing, with some of the best food I’ve had. It tasted properly homemade, and the gravy reminded me of my Nan’s 🥰.

The cheesecake of the day was honestly to die for, after a delicious Sunday roast at The Molesworth Arms. My boyfriend had the roast chicken and I had the roast beef, both full of flavour, cooked just right and really satisfying. The staff were warm and welcoming and made us feel at home, especially Megan. I’d highly recommend it for a hearty roast and a great atmosphere.

We’d already eaten almost all the food before we thought about taking photos! My boyfriend and I had stopped at this cute little pub to pass the time before our hotel check-in. We didn’t have much to eat or drink, but everything was wonderful. The leek and potato soup of the day was fantastic, and the chips and onion rings were so delicious. The atmosphere was lovely, and the staff were even lovelier.
