Breakfast had a good range of choices, and there was plenty of free parking. This is one of the better Premier Inns I’ve stayed at, with friendly, helpful staff, spacious rooms, a comfortable bed and a decent shower. My room was quite cold, possibly because the heating wasn’t working, though it wasn’t unbearable. The free WiFi was slow and poor, and the £5 premium option only covered 24 hours. I used mobile data instead, which was much faster.

The evening meal and breakfast were lovely, hot and freshly cooked. The room was clean, tidy and quiet, even with a builders yard across the car park. The bar was decorated for Christmas, just the thing after five hours in the car with the kids. We had a lovely overnight stay, and the staff were amazing with them, really friendly and engaging. A big thanks to the evening and breakfast teams. Would highly recommend.

The room was clean and comfortable, and the air con was working for once. I got a great midweek deal while chasing waves around North Cornwall. The restaurant is only open if you book in advance with your room, which wasn’t much help when I arrived late at night. I did find a nice Inn at the bottom of the hill, the Ship Inn.

What really makes this Premier Inn stand out from the others I’ve stayed in is the first-rate hospitality and friendliness of the staff. The rooms are clean, quiet and comfortable. It’s out of town, but close enough to walk to the pub, shops and restaurants. Try The Ship Inn. It has everything you’d expect from a Premier Inn, and then a bit more. Thank you!

The staff were awesome, but the evening food was poor and they didn’t even have chicken. There was no draught beer either, just small bottles at around £5.10. I like Premier Inns, but I’d never come back to this one.
