The car park serves match fans too, so you might struggle to find a space if you arrive close to kick-off. Get there early. The location works well for both the football stadium and town centre. My room was clean, and the bed was really comfortable. The bar and restaurant area was nice, though the prices felt a bit steep, as they often do at hotels.

The beds were very comfortable, and the rooms had a decent amount of space. Staff were really friendly and gave us a warm welcome. It’s a handy spot for both the football ground and town centre, and the discounted 24-hour parking was good value.

It did the job very well for the price. Parking costs extra, as is standard, but the fee seemed fair. I’d recommend it if you just need a standard place to rest.

For a one or two night stay, I’m not sure why you’d pay more elsewhere. Premier Inns are such good value. The rooms are spacious, clean and generally well equipped. They’re not luxurious, but that’s fine. Breakfast costs a reasonable amount and there’s plenty of it. It’s also close to town, and the hospital was the main reason for my visit. It was about a 10-minute walk. Service is always friendly and welcoming. If reception is busy or there’s a queue, you can use the touchscreen check-in terminal.

Customer Services were brilliant and issued my refund straight away. The hotel itself was great, but I wouldn’t bother with the Good Nights Sleep Guarantee. The air-conditioning kept me awake most of the night, and the hotel couldn’t fix it. Good Night's Sleep Guarantee were useless and refused to refund me.
