Relaxinnz George Hotel

The crème brûlée was stunning, and the other dishes were full of flavour and well prepared. Breakfast felt relaxed but was still efficient. The team were friendly and helpful throughout, even on a busy evening, and Andrew and his team made sure we were well looked after. We had a very enjoyable one-night stay at the George hotel Dorchester on Thames. We were welcomed warmly and given a stylish, cosy pet-friendly room that was clean and thoughtfully laid out, with everything we needed, including a dog bed, bowl and treats. We’ll be back.

Sunday morning was lovely, with birdsong, the chimes from Dorchester Abbey, Radio three and proper Nespresso coffee. Our Saturday night meal was fantastic, and the staff were attentive, friendly and helpful. The room was first class, with wonderful furnishings, and even a Roberts Radio. It felt warm and sumptuously appointed. We had a really excellent stay and a perfect getaway. Highly recommended, and thank you!

Breakfast was excellent, with everything from continental options to a wide choice of fully cooked dishes. The dinner menu had something for everyone, and the food was well cooked, presented and served. The friendly staff were professional and exceptionally helpful. We think it’s a well-run place, well worth the 5 stars, and we’re coming back. We’ve found a real gem in Dorchester on Thames. Booking online was easy, and the team were helpful with our requirements. We were warmly welcomed to the accessible room with our companion dog Walt, and everything was as requested. The twin room was beautifully decorated and clean, with a welcome pack and a bed for Walt.

The room was clean and had everything I needed, and there was plenty of parking. The staff were super friendly, the price was very reasonable, and the gluten-free food options were great. I stayed for one night while working nearby. The only downside was how thin the walls were. I could hear everything next door, so bring earplugs.
